Become a Specialist SEN Tutor with TP Tutors
TP Tutors is recruiting dedicated Specialist SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition for children and young people across Portsmouth and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to supporting learners with additional needs and helping them succeed academically and personally.
Location: Portsmouth and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Flexible full-time and part-time positions
Session Type: One-to-one educational support
Your Role
- Deliver high-quality, learner-focused tuition sessions
- Develop tailored learning activities based on individual strengths and targets
- Promote confidence, resilience, and independent learning skills
- Track learner progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Establish a welcoming and supportive learning environment
What You'll Bring
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those requiring additional support
- Previous experience in education, tutoring, mentoring, youth services, or SEN settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and a caring approach
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learners
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices
- Access to transport or the ability to travel locally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
