Job description

Make a Difference Where It Matters – SEN Tutor (Poole)

Not every student flourishes in a traditional classroom—and that’s where you come in. Help learners overcome barriers and achieve success in a way that works for them.

TP Tutors is seeking passionate SEN Tutors in Poole to deliver focused, one-to-one tuition for students who need additional support outside mainstream education.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Poole and nearby areas
Hours: Flexible options available (part-time/full-time)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide engaging, structured one-to-one tuition sessions
  • Work with students with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Build trust and support learners’ emotional and academic development
  • Personalise lesson plans to suit individual learning styles
  • Deliver sessions within homes or local community settings

Who We’re Looking For

  • Background in supporting young people (education, care, youth work, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Patient, resilient, and adaptable mindset
  • Willingness to travel within Poole and surrounding areas
  • Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
