Job Title: Special Education Needs (SEN) Tutor

Position: SEN Tutor

Job Type: Part Time (Temp)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' specific learning needs and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's requirements.
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to address academic and developmental goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to student support.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and assistive technologies to enhance the learning experience.
- Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in special education to continuously enhance teaching methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Relevant teaching experience with students with SEN.
- Knowledge of various learning disabilities, behavioural disorders, and developmental challenges.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and dedicated to promoting inclusivity in education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
