Job description

Are you passionate about helping young people with Special Educational Needs succeed? If you’re located in or near Christchurch, TP Tutors is looking for dedicated individuals to deliver 1:1 or small group tuition in subjects such as Maths and English.

This opportunity is perfect for professionals with experience in teaching, mentoring, youth work, or SEN support who want to help students overcome barriers and reach their potential.

Role: SEN Tutor (SEND Support Opportunities Available)

Location: Christchurch and surrounding areas

Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time

Your Impact

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised tuition sessions

  • Support learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs

  • Create a structured, positive, and supportive learning environment

  • Deliver sessions within homes or suitable community settings

  • Support learners to build confidence and achieve academic progress

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND

  • Ability to teach Maths and/or English at primary or secondary level

  • Based in or able to travel within the Christchurch area

  • Patient, flexible, and empathetic individuals

  • Strong awareness of safeguarding and inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
