SEN Tutor - Hull (HU5)

Part-Time | Weekday School Hours

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to provide tailored educational support to learners in the Hull (HU5) area.

The Role

As an SEN Tutor, you will deliver engaging, personalised lessons to students with a range of additional needs, helping them to achieve their academic goals while building confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-to-one tuition tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit students with SEN requirements.
  • Monitor and track student progress.
  • Build positive relationships with students, families, and professionals involved in their education.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs.
  • Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or support work experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
