Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Tutor looking for a rewarding opportunity in Hull?

We are looking for a dedicated tutor to support a student with Special Educational Needs, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally in a supportive learning environment.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 or small-group tuition tailored to the student's individual needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning sessions.
• Support students with their academic progress and confidence.
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and abilities.
• Manage behaviour positively and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
• Work closely with the school and wider support team.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with SEN students.
• Teaching or tutoring experience within a school or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of differentiated learning and individual needs.
• Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
• QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications are desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
