SEN Teaching Asssistants required

My client is a PMLD school based in the Gravesend location. Split across two sites with the secondary and 6^th form being location about a mile away, this is a vibrant, positive school full of energy and is a fun place to work and learn. A fully inclusive school with students who have profound, severe and multiple learning difficulties, they are taught by a specialist team of teachers and support staff but are fully integrated into the life of the school.

The school are looking for robust and diverse TA's who have the flexibility to move between SEN requirements such as PD and SEMH across all age groups. In addition to classroom based support you will also be required to engage with pupils offsite as well; this includes swimming lessons, trips to the local farm and school outings. One of the most fundamental aspects of working in this school will be the ability to assist with and provide personal care (toileting).

Ideal candidates will have:

• Professional and caring individual
• Have a good understanding about safeguarding and working with vulnerable children
• Flexible, adaptable and be able to use own initiative
• Must be comfortable with personal care (toileting)
• Moving and Handling (incl. Hoists) beneficial but not essential
• Experience working within SEN or working with children is beneficial but not essential
