Urgent & September 2025 Roles: SEN Teaching Assistants – North & East London
Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants for immediate starts and September 2025 positions across:
North London: Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Camden, Islington
East London: Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham, Havering
Whether you're an experienced SEN TA or looking to start your career in special educational needs, we have full-time opportunities in mainstream schools with SEN provisions, specialist schools, and alternative provisions.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs, including:
- Autism (ASD)
- ADHD
- Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Physical Disabilities (PD)
- Sensory Processing Disorders
- Assist with personal care (experience is a plus, but not essential).
- Support teachers in implementing EHCPs and individualised learning plans.
- Help create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
