Full-Time Unqualified Teaching Assistant
Location: North Cambridge
⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:45pm (term time only)
Immediate Start – September 2025
Our partner SEN school is seeking several Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their team. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent role supporting pupils with a range of complex needs including autism, profound physical/sensory needs, and significant learning difficulties.
About the role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support.
-
Assist with phonics, literacy, numeracy, and creative/functional activities.

Support behaviour management and contribute to pupil observations.
-
Help with lesson prep and classroom organisation.

Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Some personal care may be required.
Requirements:

MUST be available Monday–Friday, 8:30–15:45, term time only.

MUST have personal or professional experience supporting people with SEN.

Committed to the compliance process (DBS & vetting).
-
Passionate, positive, and proactive.
-
UK residents only (or valid overseas police clearance).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
