A full time position for a teaching assistant with extensive experience working with pupils with complex medical needs. The position will commence immediately and will involve working 5 days per week 8.30 - 3.30pm. The position will initially run until the end of the academic year (July 2020), however this position may become permanent dependent on the needs of the School.
The setting is an outstanding small special school which is situated over in the Tameside area. The Setting caters for secondary aged pupils who may have complex medical difficulties, so the ideal Teaching Assistant will have in background in working with those with profound learning difficulties.
The ideal teaching assistant will have:
- Moving and handling training
- PEG feeding training
- Experience within personal care and the ability to undertake all aspects of personal care
