SEN Teaching Assistant – Southport

Location: Southport
Pay: £14.25 to £15.50 per hour
Start Date: ASAP or September 2026
Contract: Full time, part time, and flexible roles available

Are you a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact?

We are working with supportive and welcoming schools in Southport who are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a one to one and small group basis.

This role is ideal for candidates based in Southport or surrounding areas or those willing to travel.

Your role:

Supporting children with SEN including Autism and ADHD
Building positive relationships to support engagement and development
Working alongside class teachers and SENCOs
Providing tailored support to meet individual needs

We are looking for:

Experience working with children or young people
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Reliability and commitment to working in Southport
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

What we offer:

Pay between £14.25 and £15.50 per hour
A dedicated consultant supporting you throughout
Flexibility with both full time and part time work
Opportunities to upskill through training, qualifications, and CPD

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
