If this sounds like you and you are seeking a full time position, we want to hear from you!

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be required to support a number of pupils within the school on both a 1:1 and group basis as you assist them in reaching the curriculum and supporting them with any additional needs they may have, whether these are learning, SEN, behaviour or SEMH related. Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is preferred, however we would welcome those with transferable experience, such as those who have worked as a Youth Worker, Support Worker or similar.

You will be working within a modern secondary school in Rochdale which was recently graded 'Good' by Ofsted. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community, mainly due to its tradition of delivering academic success, as well as having the reputation of being a safe and supportive place for pupils to learn. The school is easily accessible by both own transport as well as public transport, with major links to the City Centre close by.
