Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely Primary school in Littlehampton who are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient individual to join their close-knit team as a Specialist Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with ADHD. The candidate will be required to be confident working with SEN and challenging behaviour and be able to build rapport with the child you would be working with. 

The Role:

  • Year 6 1:1 support 
  • Supporting the child with personal and academic progress..
  • Part time – term time only 9am-2pm
  • Managing Behaviour/Maintaining focus
  • £11.84 - £13 per hour

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children. 
  • Minimum 5 GCSE pass grades 
  • Safeguarding training
  • DBS uploaded onto the update service (or willing to complete a new one)
  • SEN experience
  • Confident in managing behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
