SEN Teaching Assistant – Prenton (CH43)

• Contract: Full-time, Fixed term (Full Academic Year)
• Start Date: October 2025
• Pay: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

An Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ primary school in the Prenton area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with several KS1 pupils with ASC, as well as to provide targeted support for a girl with cognition needs.

The successful candidate will be eager to receive training in supporting children with ASC and cognition difficulties. This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive school environment, where you will gain valuable experience working across the primary age range.

Essential Experience and Requirements:

• Proven experience managing behaviour within the primary school age group.
• Previous experience working with children with SEN or complex needs.
• Commitment to full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
