SEN Teaching Assistant - Kings Lynn

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a SEMH provision based in Kings Lynn, to seek a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant.

The Role

You will be working with pupils between 11-16 years, ensuring they stay engaged in their learning as well as encouraging them to take part in class activities. Working in Special Educational Needs, no two days will be the same. One day you could be working with a pupil, who requires 1:1 support, the next you may be working as part of a larger class with multiple SEN pupils. For this position, we require a SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience with challenging behaviour.

As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, duties will include:

  • Promoting and assisting with the learning and development of the pupil(s) you are assigned to
  • Encouraging pupils' confidence and independence
  • Managing behavior
  • Preparing learning resources, as directed by the Teacher

Working Hours

As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant you must be available to work from 8.30am until 3.30pm. We have both part-time and full-time positions available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
