I am currently partnered with an excellent school in East London who cater to both mainstream and SEN children side by side. The culture of this school is one of inclusivity and encouragement for each and every individual to reach their full potential. They are currently looking for a strong TA who is comfortable managing challenging behaviours in an education environment. This role would be ideal for individuals with either paid or personal experience with Special Education Needs or a passion for education.
Individuals with Team Teach qualifications are highly desirable but not a necessity as they have the opportunity to join the Teaching Personnel run Team Teach course at the end of September. This is an opportunity to further your knowledge on how to interact with individuals with a range of special education needs, and work in an environment that nurtures and stimulates social, emotional and educational growth.
The ideal candidate will:

Have a current child DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one

Have experience working with special education needs and challenging behaviours

Be enthusiastic, ambitious an caring

Be organised

An education background is not a necessity for this role; however those with TA experience are encouraged to apply.
Day Rates: GBP60-GBP75

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
