SEN Teaching Assistant

Join a popular secondary school in Manchester seeking to appoint an SEN teaching assistant on a full-time temporary basis from January. This role is suited to any candidates with experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and disabilities.

The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities. They will join the schools growing SEN department and will take responsibility of supporting a number of identified students on a 1:1 and small group basis. Support will be provided in class and in the schools specialist SEN department to ensure that all students with SEN and additional needs achieve their full potential.

To apply for this role, candidate must have experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. School based experience is desirable.

This popular secondary academy is located in Manchester just a short drive from the city centre. For those on public transport, the school is accessible via trains from the city centre and bus routes from the surrounding areas of Manchester, Stockport and Tameside. For those who drive, the school is accessible via the M60 and A57.
