SEN Teaching Assistant required, Rusholme, Manchester (M14)

Prior experience working with SEN essential

Full Time Role – November start

A ‘GOOD’ primary school in the Rusholme area of  Manchester (M14) area are looking for a teaching assistant to join their KS1 team on a full time basis starting after October half term (2^nd November 2020). To be considered, you will have experience working with children with specific needs on a 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children on the autistic spectrum, however, a candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn may be considered. This is a school which prides itself on ‘creating highly motivating & interesting lessons’ for its children so the ideal candidate will be comfortable with exploring alternative methods for assisting teaching.

The ideal candidate will:

ü  Have a clear understanding of the KS1 curriculum  

ü  Have experience supporting children with special educational needs

ü  Be compassionate and flexible in your approach to supporting learning
