SEN teaching assistants required

Location- Westminster

Pay- GBP65 a day

Teaching Personnel are actively looking for teaching assistants with SEN experience to join our list of candidates. You will be working one-two-one with pupils with learning difficulties which can range from several different disabilities. Experience is highly desired but not essential. Any experience working with children, especially SEN pupils will be beneficial for the role. If no SEN experience in a classroom setting is available then we ask that you are a patient, determined and confident individual who has the characteristics to help and support young pupils with learning difficulties. The roles can range from full time to part time so flexible availability is preferred. Our partner schools are determined that every child should receive the best education and that they develop a love of learning which will stay with them, this is where you can come in.

The schools work particularly hard with their curriculum, making sure they can engage with the different needs and interests of their pupils. The schools are well led by the executive and associate head teachers who provide inspiration to the schools.

Shortlisting criteria include:

  • Teaching assistant experience with SEN students
  • Experience working with children in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Patience, determination and passion for education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
