Are you a dedicated and hardworking teaching assistant with SEN experience? Or are you looking to further your experience within a pastoral role?

Teaching Personnel are the market leaders for teaching and supply staff, dedicated, reliable and with a passion for education. We are seeking Secondary SEN Teaching Assistants in the Birmingham and surrounding areas.

Your role as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be to support children in KS3 and KS4 with EHCPs for Autism, ADHD or Dyslexia. You will be providing support through one-to-one work and group interventions, helping children reach their individual targets. You will be helping with emotional regulation as well as with Social Interaction Skills. You will be collaborating with a supportive team who have a wealth of SEND experience in well-established schools.

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will:

  • Be Proactive
  • Have good experience working 1:1.
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Experience working with students aged 11-16+
  • Have a passion for working with children with Special Needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
