SEN Teaching Assistant – Doncaster
Location: Doncaster
Pay: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in a variety of primary and secondary schools across Doncaster. We have both short-term and long-term opportunities available with immediate starts.
The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Support students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties

Assist the class teacher with planning and adapting learning activities
-
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
-
Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or relevant transferable experience)
-
A patient, empathetic and resilient approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
