SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Primary Schools
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Pay: From £90 per day

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across a range of primary schools in Reading. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a meaningful difference in the classroom.
The Role:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
- Supporting students with a range of needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning difficulties
- Assisting pupils with academic tasks, emotional regulation and behaviour management
- Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working as a SEN LSA, Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or similar
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is essential
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
