SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Primary Schools

Location: Reading, Berkshire
Pay: From £90 per day

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across a range of primary schools in Reading. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a meaningful difference in the classroom.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
• Supporting students with a range of needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning difficulties
• Assisting pupils with academic tasks, emotional regulation and behaviour management
• Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working as a SEN LSA, Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or similar
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is essential
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
