Early Years Practitioner – Primary School (Reading)
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Pay: From £90 per day

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming primary school in Reading to recruit a passionate Early Years Practitioner to support pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood development and has experience or a strong interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH).
The Role:
-
Supporting children in Nursery or Reception within a primary school setting
-
Providing 1:1 and small-group support, including pupils with SEN
-
Assisting with learning through play and structured activities
-
Supporting children’s social, emotional and behavioural development
-
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Experience working as an Early Years Practitioner, EYFS Teaching Assistant, Nursery Nurse, or similar
-
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable
-
A patient, caring and nurturing approach
-
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
-
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
