Teaching Personnel work with a number of schools across the Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire area providing specialist teaching assistants for long term vacancies and day to day supply work. One particular school in Sturminster Newton are looking for teaching assistants to support them on a flexible basis.

This SEN school is a day community school for children with profound and multiple (PMLD) , Severe (SLD), Moderate (MLD) or complex learning difficulties. Some children have additional sensory or physical impairments, speech and language disorders or medical needs, others are statemented as being within the autistic spectrum.

To be considered for the role, you must have experience supporting children or adults with special needs.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
