A school in Preston have approached Teaching Personnel regarding a TA/Cover Supervisor to join their SEN department ASAP.
This role is full time and starting ASAP, on a temp to perm basis. The school is a rapidly growing secondary school based in Preston. Graded "Good" by Ofsted, they are the school of choice for pupils and parents throughout the Preston area.
TA3 and Cover Supervisor, working 8.30am - 3.30pm
- To provide 1:1 and small group support with pupils across KS3/4
- To liaise with departments in schools to effectively implement learning plans
- To supervise the completion of pre-planned work that students can access independently with minimal staff input (not teaching, not new topics)
- To supervise classroom activities, maintain discipline and implement behaviour management controls in accordance with school policy and health and safety
The school are looking for "A strong classroom leader for the role as well as someone with nurturing attitude/experience. Must have cover supervisor experience in Secondary and Teaching Assistant qualifications"
