Exciting and rewarding opportunity to support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs.

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Required from April 2021 (or potentially earlier).
  • Ofsted graded ‘Good’ Secondary school located in Bury.
  • Supporting students aged 11-16, with a range of SEN such as ADHD and Autism.
  • Earn up to GBP1400 per month, depending on roles and responsibilities.

This large mixed secondary school in Bury is looking for an additional Teaching Assistant due to a gap in their SEN department until the end of the academic year.

Working within the school will involve supporting the SENCO and class teachers to ensure all pupils have the correct support in the classroom. You will be working alongside pupils ranging in intellectual ability who have been identified as requiring additional guidance, due to their SEN, to stay on task and reach their full potential.

To be considered for this role, it is important that you have previous experience working with individuals who have Special Educational Needs. Any direct experience within a school setting is desirable but not essential, as induction support will be provided.

Our client school is located in Bury; close by to the town centre with various links to public transportation from surrounding areas such as Whitefield and Prestwich. The school can also be accessed via the M66 and A58 for candidates who have their own transportation from neighbouring areas.
