SEN Teaching Assistant

Due to a change in their department, there is an exciting opportunity for a skilled member of support staff to reduce the risk of exclusion at our partner secondary school.

Our client secondary school is currently undergoing a change within their support department and now requires an extra teaching assistant to ensure that identified pupils with SEN have the correct support they require within classrooms. The school is known for its welcoming community alongside its large support department for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

The incoming candidate will be:

• Supporting pupils with SEN who require 1:1 or small group intervention.
• Supporting students who can occasionally show signs of challenging behaviour.
• Providing support across a wide range of subject areas including Maths and English.

This school is based close by to the centre of Bolton and has around 900 pupils on roll. The school can be accessed from areas surrounding Bolton via the M62, M66 and A56. For candidates who do not have their own transportation, the school can also be accessed via public transport links from areas such as Little Lever and Farnworth.
