Exciting opportunity to support pupils with additional learning needs and SEN within a secondary school in Salford.

  • Full time SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Required from September 2021 for the full academic year.
  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs such as ADHD and ASC.
  • Secondary school based in Salford.
  • Earn up to GBP1400 per month!

This opportunity is ideal for any individuals with previous experience in social work, care work or supporting young people with special educational needs. The incoming teaching assistant will be required to work within both mainstream lessons and within the SEN department supporting pupils in need of additional guidance. Pupils will have a range of needs including Autism and ADHD. The incoming member of staff will be supporting students across a range of subjects on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

To be considered for this position it is important the incoming candidate has experience or knowledge of Special Educational Needs. Relevant support will be provided by the head of department and the SENCO and any other transferrable experience will also be considered for this position.

This school is based in Salford and has around 900 pupils on roll, with around 13% of these pupils having Special Educational Needs. The school is easily accessible via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas including Prestwich and Bolton. Our client school can also be accessed via public transport from neighbouring areas of Salford.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
