SEN Teaching Assistant

Opportunity to gain experience supporting students who have Special Educational Needs with school-based activities.

• Full time Teaching Assistant role.
• Available from September 2020 until the end of the academic year.
• Working in a newly established SEN department within a large Secondary school in Bolton.
• Earn up to GBP350 per week, depending on previous experience.
• Supporting identified pupils with daily school life alongside their academic studies.
• Monitor pupils’ process and record any significant improvements in students’ behaviour or academic achievement.
• Access to multiple CPD training courses from partner Secondary and SEN schools.

Application requirements

• You must have direct experience supporting children and young people.
• Any direct experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.
• Must have a strong understanding of how to support specific SEN.

Located in Bolton, our client secondary school can easily be accessed via the M61 and the A58 from the surrounding areas. For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from areas such as Bury, Worsley and Westhoughton.
