Sen Teaching Assistant

We're looking for an exceptional ALN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner primary schools in Barry.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit at the back of the classroom. We're looking for someone who wants to make a genuine impact on the life of a child who needs a little extra support to thrive.

You'll work closely with pupils who have Additional Learning Needs, helping them build confidence, develop social skills, and access learning in a way that works for them.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Delivering targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
• Encouraging independence and emotional regulation
• Working closely with teachers and ALNCOs
• Building positive, trusting relationships with learners

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
• You have supported individuals with ALN, ASD, ADHD or SEMH needs
• You're patient, resilient and positive
• You genuinely enjoy helping others succeed
