Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
School: SEN School - Two sites catering to primary (5-11) and secondary (11-16) aged children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).
Position: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 3:15pm
Contract: Temporary with a possibility of a permanent contract after a probation period.

The Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working across two sites, supporting primary and secondary aged children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. Your responsibilities will include providing specialist support, assisting with classroom activities, and ensuring the well-being and development of the students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with PMLD.
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans.
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with PMLD or in a special educational needs setting.
- Relevant qualifications in education, health, or social care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with special needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
