SEN Teaching Assistant
Join a vibrant secondary school in Tameside seeking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. from April. This position will commence in April and will run throughout the remainder of the academic year.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will join the schools Inclusion Team and Special Educational Needs department, supporting students with Special Educational Needs, Additional Needs and Disabilities.
They will provide additional support to students with additional needs and SEN to help them achieve their targets. Support will be provided through in class support, small group and one-to-one support. They will also help with the preparation and creation of resources and strategies to support learners of all needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting secondary aged students with Special Educational Needs in a school setting or will have transferable experience.
This secondary school located in Tameside just a short drive from surrounding areas including East Manchester, Stockport and the High Peak and caters to a diverse background of students from all areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
