Teaching Personnel are pleased to be looking for a teaching assistant to work within a secondary setting. This role requires a suitable candidate to work closely with a child to support them with their curriculum specifically suited to their needs and abilities.
It is desired that the candidate has previous experience of working with children in or out of education. The candidate would have experience of working with behaviour and knows different behaviour management approaches and techniques that they would be able to support the role.
These roles may require you to go out on different activities with the children to engage them with different curriculum based learning set out for their individual needs. This requires the candidates to be able to drive with access to their own vehicle.
A DBS is needed in child workforce only. As part of our vetting requirements your DBS needs to be on the Update Service. If you do not have either of these then do not hesitate to contact us as we can help you to go through the application process.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
