SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4 - 18 within an inspiring and nurturing specialist learning environment in Salisbury. This is a flexible role, offering full-time with part-time opportunities with an immediate start.
Working Hours & Pay

Typical hours: 8.15am to 3pm

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Provide one-to-one and small group support

Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
Requirements

Minimum 6 months’ childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN needs

A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach

Ability to adapt to different age groups and needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
