SEN Teaching Assistant

A school in the Urmston area are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their excellent team. The school is a provision for children aged 2-12 years old diagnosed with Profound and often Multiple Learning Difficulties. As a result the successful Teaching Assistant would have:

• Experience of working with those with SEN
• A calm and patient manner
• A desire to help and support those who need it most

Your role as a Teaching Assistant would have many duties most notably assisting the pupils within the classroom. However the lessons are not based in individual subjects for the most part due the needs of the children. Instead, the lessons taught are those of character building, effective communication and basic skills.
