Supply SEN Teaching Assistant (Mainstream Primary)

Location: Sale, M33

Are you a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in the Sale (M33) area? We are working with a range of welcoming primary schools seeking dedicated SEN TAs to support pupils with additional needs on a supply basis.

The role will involve providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language needs, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) requirements. You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
  • Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Is confident supporting challenging behaviour when required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
