SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Runcorn
Full Time Role

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Runcorn, working across KS3–KS5.

Role Overview

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide personalised and adaptable support to students with a range of SEN needs.
  • Assist in delivering tailored interventions and classroom support.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to ensure inclusive learning.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with SEN students in a secondary setting.
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
