SEN Teaching Assistant – Rochdale (OL12)
Teaching personnel are seeking multiple SEN Teaching Assistants to work in the SEN provision of a mainstream primary school in Rochdale.
Senior leadership of this school require Teaching Assistants that can work both one-to-one and in small groups of pupils in KS1 and KS2. This role involves general support. These pupils generally have low-needs, and simply need the additional support small class sizes and TAs can provide. Most pupils have ASC or ADHD. This role does not involve any personal care.
A committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant will be expected to get involved in the day-to-day running of SEN classes, building trusting and positive relationships with pupils and colleagues alike. Incoming TAs will be working closely with class teachers and fellow TAs to successfully follow EHCPS.
- Primary School in Rochdale (OL12), accessible via public transport or car (on-site parking).
- £77-85 per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees) paid weekly.
- Full-time role Monday-Friday, paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel.

- SEN experience required. Experience with ASC or ADHD beneficial.
Therefore, Teaching Personnel are seeking Teaching Assistants with experience with SEN to contribute to this school-wide drive for progress and attainment. These Teaching Assistants will fill a full-time position, Monday to Friday. After registering with Teaching Personnel, successful candidates will start as soon as possible. These positions will last until the end of the academic year. The school may offer permanent contracts after a successful trial period paid through Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
