1–1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Poole | Mainstream Primary School
At Teaching Personnel, we are proud to be working in partnership with one of our welcoming mainstream primary schools in Poole who are looking to appoint a full-time 1–1 SEN Teaching Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN TA to provide dedicated, consistent support to a pupil on a 1–1 basis, helping them access learning and feel confident within the classroom environment.
The Role:

Full-time position (Monday–Friday)
-
Providing tailored 1–1 support for a child with SEN
-
Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
-
Supporting academic progress, emotional regulation and social development
-
Implementing individual education plans and behaviour strategies

Previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential)

A patient, nurturing and resilient approach

Strong behaviour management skills

Confidence in adapting learning to meet individual needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
