SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Role

Looking for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to support a student 1:1 with ADHD and suspected ASC full time to start in September. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well established Primary School in the Central Nottingham area, that prides themselves in meeting the needs of every individual. Although challenging, for the right candidate this role will be highly rewarding and it will provide great career development opportunities. 

The Role:

• Working 1:1 with a Year 3 child with ADHD and suspected ASC
• Assisting with learning keeping them on task
• Managing challenging behaviour 
• Hours 08:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday  

Requirements 

• Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience is desired but not essential 
• A knowledge of Autism and ADHD
• Be able to travel or live in the Central Nottingham area 
• Resilient and enthusiastic personality 
• Right to work in the UK
• A child workforce DBS on the Update Service
