SEN Teaching Assistant
Join an innovative secondary academy in South Manchester seeking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to support disadvantaged and vulnerbale students across years 7 - 11.
This role is suited to any candidates with experience in supporting vulnerable or disadvantaged children. We also welcome applications from enthusiastic graduates looking to gain secondary school experience.
This role will involve working with individual students identified as needing academic, behavioural and emotional support. The successful candidate will work with the schools Inclusion team and will be involved in the delivery of programmes of work as well as working one-to-one with individual students to promote a positive attitude towards learning.
This large secondary academy has been on an excellent journey in recent years and has been locally and nationally recognised for its significant improvements. In a recent Ofsted report, the academy was judged to be ‘Good’ with a strong and determined leadership team.
For those on public transport, the academy is easily accessible via public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas. For those who drive, the academy is located a 20 minute drive from the city centre.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
