SEN Teaching Assistant: Tottenham
£85-£95 (Per Day)
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support within a Primary School based in Tottenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Reception classroom working 1:1 with a pupil who on occasion displays challenging behaviours and is working at a lower level. The role will be supported by the Class Teacher and a very welcoming Senior Leadership Team. The school were rated ‘Good’ in their most recent Ofsted report and pride themselves in their engaging learning opportunities by providing a curriculum that includes a wide range of enrichment activities.
The role requires:
- Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
- A resilient, patient and committed attitude
- Experience working with children who have mild to moderate learning difficulties
- Ability to travel to the school for a 8:30am start and 15:30pm finish
Essentials:
- Valid DBS (A Child Workforce certificate that is registered on the Update Service)
- Eligibility to work in the UK (right to work in the UK documentation)
- SEN experience with Team Teach training desirable
- Level 2 Qualification or higher in relevant areas such as Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Childcare, Early Years, Primary Education, Special Educational Needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
