SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Long-Term Opportunities)
Liverpool & Wirral

£95 - 105 a day (based on experience) 

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful impact in the classroom? We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work full-time in long-term roles across our partnership schools in Liverpool and the Wirral.

Our schools offer a range of supportive and dynamic environments, including mainstream settings with SEN provision, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) schools, and alternative provisions. This variety provides an excellent opportunity to gain diverse experience and develop your skills in supporting students with additional needs.

The Role:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans
  • Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Help manage behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
