Job Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Islington

Contract: Full Time

Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm

Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depended on experience)

Start Date: September 1^st, 2025

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The school is well established and forward-thinking SEN school located in the heart of Islington, dedicated to supporting children and young people aged 4-18 years with a range of complex needs including autism and mental health needs.

The Role:

• Supporting students with autism on a 1:1 basis
• Helping to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years’ experience in SEN (1:1 support)
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Team Teach or similar training (Not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
