Teaching/Learning Support Assistant (EYFS)
Are you looking for a new role in after easter? Enjoy working with children and want to work term-time only? Starting in January 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join in the future development of a primary school working with Teaching Personnel based in Haywards Heath, with high standards of behaviour and achievement.
We are seeking to appoint a keen and committed Learning Support Assistant/INA to support our children, including individuals and groups, both academically and socially. The full time role will be in EYFS initially, with a likelihood that the contract will be extended for the right candidate. The children and team working within the reception class are looking for an SEN teaching assistant to join their classroom, working with varying SEN needs such as ASC, ADHD, behaviour and SEMH.
The successful applicant:
• will understand how children learn and how to personalise their approach.
• have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
• will be a team player, as well as using their initiative
• have good behaviour control and a passionate and empathetic nature
• have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including autism and speech and language difficulties both in small groups and 1:1
• have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
