SEN Teaching Assistant / Independent Need Assistant Location: Haywards Heath

Salary: £77 - £85 Per Day - Monday to Friday

What does it take to be a 1:1 Teaching Assistant?

• Passion for education

• Patience and understanding

• No formal educational qualifications necessary - however experience of SEN needs is essential.

• Minimum 5 GCSEs in core subjects

• Enhanced DBS Certificate available on the Update service (Teaching Personnel can assist)

Job role:

• Reading or explaining tasks to the child, understanding, and supporting their needs and keeping them focused on their tasks.

• Manage challenging behaviours.

• Support the teacher to maintain learning and help children access the curriculum. Benefits:
