Job description

Teaching Assistant – September Start
Full-Time | Term Time Only | Surrey

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team this September.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a specialist setting supporting pupils aged 4–16 with a range of learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and autism. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to help pupils develop confidence, independence and essential life skills both in and out of the classroom.

Set within beautiful grounds with excellent outdoor learning facilities, our school offers a nurturing and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

  • Is patient, resilient and adaptable

  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Is passionate about inclusive education and supporting individual needs

  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, term time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
