Are you ready to shine a light on young lives and help them break through the clouds? We’re on the lookout for passionate Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team supporting boys with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
Our school has been growing strong for 3 years and offers a fantastic temp-to-perm path, topped with top-tier training and a genuine commitment to staff well-being—because we know great care fuels great results!
What’s the role?
You’ll be the steady anchor helping students overcome bumps in their learning journey. Whether providing 1:1 or group support, your resilience and passion will help them turn the page toward brighter academic and personal success.
Who fits the bill?
- Experience working 1:1 or with groups in SEMH settings
- Bonus points if you bring safeguarding, Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach skills to the table
- A heart for supporting children facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges
- Calm, resilient, and ready to weather any storm
- Flexible, proactive, and endlessly patient
- Full-time commitment—you’re in it for the long haul!
What you’ll need:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- Overseas Police Check (OCC) if applicable
- Up-to-date CV showing your experience with children, ideally in SEMH environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
