Teaching Personnel are an education recruitment agency and work with a large number of schools across North London and we are currently looking to fill a position within one of our partner schools within the Finchley area of North London. The School is in a specialist SEN setting and are requiring a Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for the continuing learning and development of SEN students.

SEN experience is required either in a professional or personal capacity. Have you worked within education before? Do you have immediate family with SEN requirements? Do you have a genuine interest in pursuing a lasting career within the education sector? Tell us about any relevant experience you feel has transferable skills such as working with youth groups or within care. A successful candidate will be a positive enthusiastic person who has a flexible and adaptable approach to working and education and is comfortable working within a classroom based environment led by a teacher and on a 1:1 basis with students with a variety of needs including Autism and ADHD.

  • Competitive pay rates £85-100 per day depending on experience
  • Full time – Part time roles both available
  • This is a temporary role but with the potential to become a permanent position for the right person
  • 1:1 support and classroom-based learning.
  • Start date is ASAP 
  • SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting SEN students within Key Stage 2- 4
  • Specialist setting in the N2 Area
  • Located near to the tube station
  • Prior experience preferred but not essential.

  • An Enhanced DBS check- on the update service
  • Applicants who have lived outside the UK for 6 months or more in the last 5 years will be required to present an Overseas Criminal Check (police check)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
