SEN LEARNING MENTOR 

Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting Mental Health Specialists who can work alongside Teachers and other Education staff/Therapists in specialist provisions including primary and secondary SEN, PRUs, Aps and SEMH schools in Haringey.

If you have the following experience or background, you may be the perfect applicant for this role:

  • Psychology, Counselling or relevant degree (desirable)
  • Teaching Assistant experience or experience working in a school, preferably a specialist provision 
  • Experience working with children/young people with SEN, such as ASD and ADHD.
  • A good understanding, passion or experience in working with young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviours 
  • Team Teach, PRICE or Thrive training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
