Teaching Personnel: Recruitment Announcement

Position Available: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Winchester, Secondary SEN School
Age Group: Children 11-16 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:45am to 3:15pm
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent (after probation period)

Role Overview: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll support students with SLD, assisting teachers, providing one-on-one support, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: SEN or transferable skills from care or support work.
  • Availability: Full-time, Mon-Fri.
  • Passion: Genuine love for supporting children's educational development.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work well with teaching staff and support professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
